Dawah Mission / Propagation

The Society congregates to recognize the act of worship by Muslims en masse in Islam through the Dawah Programme. The organization, through the work of its highly knowledgeable and deeply compassionate Imams and Islamic scholars throughout the year and in every precinct where the Organization currently exists, emphasizes the need for Dawah and the use of various Dawah programmes to propagate Islam.

The organization adopts several tailored programmes throughout the year and at various centres to generate Dawah activities. This includes but is not limited to Special Tafsir; Special Programmes during Maolud Nabiy to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W); House to House Dawah; special prayers especially during the Month of Ramadan; series of Dawah events and programmes during and after Ramadan; Special Celebration of the Lailatul Qadr — the Night of Power during Ramadan — and several other local, National and international events geared towards propagating Islam through Dawah Events.

The League of Imams and Islamic Scholars hired and retained by the Society, starting from the Chief Imam of the Society based at the Headquarters in Abeokuta supported by other Imams and Islamic Scholars, helps create different programmes and events towards Dawah activities throughout the year. In all the Branches of Nawair-Ud-Deen globally, Dawah activity is very essential and encouraged. All the branches of the Society globally maintain a consistent structure to retain a League of Branch Mission Board, which are essentially Imams and Islamic Scholars in that Branch. They work in collaboration with the Executive Officers of the Branch to create Dawah Programmes and Events throughout the year for the organization and the benefit of the Muslim Jamah in their respective community.

The Dawah programmes are another important Islamic right carried out and entrenched by Nawair-Ud-Deen Society. It requires a considerable amount of funds and donations to conduct these programmes and events, including operational cost, labour cost, logistics cost and the cost of providing help to various community needs through establishing Community projects in health, environmental issues, education and other areas.

Nawair-Ud-Deen is calling on well-meaning Muslims to participate in its Dawah Programme Mobilization Fund. The target is to raise a minimum of ₦10.0 Million annually towards various Dawah Programmes throughout Nigeria and elsewhere — an equivalent of US$20,000 minimum per annum.
